Poster presentation guidelines

Authors who are presenting posters during Theveli 2019 are advised to adhere to the following guidelines:

Poster size should be 594 mm (width) X 841 mm (height), i.e., 23.4 (w) X 33.1 (h);

Posters should be in vertical (portrait) orientation;

Posters should be in English;

Posters should be easily readable at a distance of 1.5 metres (5 feet);

The presentation must cover the material indicated in the accepted abstract.

Schedule of poster exhibition:

Posters should be displayed on Saturday, 7th September 2019. Poster sessions are on:

Sunday, 8th Sep: 0900-1700 hrs

Monday, 9th Sep: 0900-1700 hrs

Posters will be exhibited throughout the conference on poster display boards.

New: Abstract submission template 2019 – English

We are pleased to announce our upcoming International Conference “Theveli 2019”, which is to be held on the 8th and 9th September 2019. Theveli is a multidisciplinary research conference, and the theme for this year is “Motivate, Integrate and Discover”.

“Theveli” is a Dhivehi (Maldivian language) word which means rays spread on the sea (or water) when the sun or moon rises and sets. WE, THE MALDIVES NATIONAL UNIVERSITY, act as a platform to spread rays of knowledge throughout the nation, region and beyond.
We aim to bring together the best brains around the world and disseminate knowledge via this conference.

We look forward for your participation in this annual event. We kindly request you to also share this information with your colleagues, students and friends, encouraging them to participate in this conference and present research papers on the theme and sub-themes of Theveli 2019.
